About Nick

Nick is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor at Integrative Health Consultants of West Michigan. Counseling helps individuals, groups, and families from all backgrounds to accomplish their optimum level of mental health and attain wellness. These outcomes are achieved in the lives of clients through prevention, advocacy, and empowerment. Nick has experience working with adults who are dealing with mental health disorders such as major depression, trauma, and anxiety through individual counseling. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as a means to collaborate, educate, and treat clients. Nick is also a registered behavior technician and has worked with children diagnosed with autism using behavioral therapy for the past six years.

“My goal is to equip clients experiencing mental health disorders by using evidence-based treatment, assessments, diagnostic techniques, and plan-of-action prevention. With these counseling tools I am able to help clients decrease symptoms impeding mental health; This also helps clients achieve and maintain wellness”.

Nick is currently finishing his Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Western Michigan where he’s a counselor in training and his program is CACREP accredited. This means Western is nationally accredited for counselors and he’ll be graduating with a master’s degree in counseling. Nick also became a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Clinical Mental Health Counselor’s honor society while completing his degree.
