Crystal Kasper, MS, LLPC*

About Crystal

I am passionate about helping individuals discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.

I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Child and Adolescent Disorders from Grand Canyon University and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning. My clinical experience includes working in both community mental health and college counseling settings, where I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through a variety of emotional, academic, and life challenges.

Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a licensed K–8 teacher. That experience strengthened my passion for helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life's transitions while recognizing the important connection between emotional well-being, learning, and personal growth. I also have a special interest in working with college students as they navigate academic stress, anxiety, identity development, relationships, and the many changes that accompany higher education.

I am especially passionate about serving individuals and families in rural communities. I understand that access to quality mental health care can be limited, and I am committed to helping bridge that gap by providing compassionate, evidence-based care to those who may otherwise have difficulty accessing services.

My counseling approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), while tailoring treatment to each person's unique strengths, needs, and goals. I believe therapy should be a partnership, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to build practical skills, increase resilience, and create meaningful change.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, college students, and families experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, academic stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and adjustment difficulties.

Whether you're facing a difficult season, working toward personal growth, or simply looking for a supportive place to process life's challenges, I would be honored to walk alongside you. My goal is to provide a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself while taking meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and living a more fulfilling life. I look forward to supporting you as you work toward greater emotional wellness, resilience, and a life that feels meaningful to you.
