About Trisha


Trisha is a Marriage, Couple, and Family Counselor at Integrative Health Consultants of West Michigan. Trisha believes in a holistic approach to therapy, considering each client's emotional, psychological, familial, and cultural well-being to work toward wholeness and healing. Coming from a Family Systems Theory framework, Trisha recognizes that our family of origin and interpersonal relationships deeply impact our functioning, repetitive patterns, roles, and core beliefs. Understanding our role and responsibility within this system can effect significant change.

Trisha specializes in working with couples and families. Areas of specialty include divorce care, discernment counseling, co parenting, blended families, codependency, and infidelity. She also works with individuals addressing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress management, peri/menopause and other life changes, self-esteem, and identity exploration. Trisha is LGBTQIA+ affirming and has a heart for all individuals, couples, and families navigating life's best and most brutal parts.

Trisha earned her master's degree at Western Michigan University by completing the Counselor Education: Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy program. While attending Western, Trisha took additional coursework in sex therapy and transgender couple dynamics. She is also a member of the Mu Beta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society (CSI). Trisha currently holds limited licenses in counseling and marriage and family therapy.
