Emme Dyk, M.A. Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern*

About Emme

Emme Dyk is a Counselor Intern pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. She is passionate about supporting young adults and individuals navigating emerging adulthood as they work through mental health concerns, life transitions, and personal challenges.

Emme believes counseling is a collaborative process where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to work toward their goals. Her approach is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, with an emphasis on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can be themselves. She draws from person-centered therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Emme was drawn to the counseling profession because of her desire to come alongside people during difficult seasons of life and help them identify their needs, strengths, and goals. She values meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them as they pursue meaningful growth and positive change.
