Mandy DeHaan, therapist at IHC West Michigan

About Mandy

Mandy has been providing counseling services to individuals for over 20 years and is passionate about helping people navigate the complexities of relationships—both with others and with themselves. Her work focuses on relationship challenges, communication issues, self-exploration, trauma, and OCD, with an emphasis on helping clients feel empowered and more at peace in their lives.

She uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs, offering culturally sensitive care for people of all backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Mandy believes therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, safety, and genuine connection. Her goal is to help clients uncover patterns that may be holding them back, heal from past pain, and develop greater clarity and confidence in their relationships and daily lives.

Mandy uses evidence-based practices to address trauma, OCD, relationship stressors, life stressors, anxiety, and depression to support deep, lasting change. When desired, she integrates faith and spirituality into counseling, honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Above all, she strives to help clients experience healing, empowerment, and a sense of wholeness as they move forward on their journey.
